Description
Machu Picchu is an intimate Tangerine Dream composition created as a tribute to BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel. This one-piece, 42-minute work is available on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve.
Edgar Froese composed the music in response to John Peel’s passing in 2004, honouring the support Peel had given Tangerine Dream’s career. Froese initially made the composition for himself, but later agreed to its release.
First issued for Record Store Day in 2019, the album quickly sold out and is now available again on black vinyl.
