Description
"Grace" is an audacious debut album, filled with sweeping choruses, bombastic arrangements, searching lyrics, and above all, the richly textured voice of Jeff Buckley, whose vocal style evokes comparisons to Robert Plant, Van Morrison, and his father Tim Buckley. The album blends rock, folk, and classical influences into a powerful alternative sound, often described as a Led Zeppelin album written by a folk artist with a taste for lounge jazz. Featuring iconic tracks like "Dream Brother," "Eternal Life," and a transcendent cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," this 2015 reissue preserves the analog audio integrity of one of the most influential albums in alternative music history.
