Description
Jurassic Shift is a psychedelic rock album by Ozric Tentacles on CD, for listeners drawn to exploratory sounds and groove-led rhythms. This digipak edition uses Ed Wynne’s 2020 remasters and includes an 8-page booklet.
Ozric Tentacles blend ambient and ethereal soundscapes with dub, rave grooves and progressive rock, using spiralling guitars, keyboards, samplers and bass-and-drum rhythms. The band emerged from the UK festival scene and has released music for over 30 years.
Their fourth proper release, Jurassic Shift was the first album they recorded at their own studio, The Mill. Originally released in 1993, it reached number 11 in the UK national chart.
