Description

Rattlesnakes is the 1984 debut album by Lloyd Cole and The Commotions, presented here on 180g red vinyl. It suits listeners looking for melodic, guitar-based pop with literary references and wry lyrics.

Formed in Glasgow in 1982, Lloyd Cole and The Commotions built a sound centred on guitars, melodies and Cole’s droll, culturally allusive songwriting. Produced by Paul Hardiman, the album became one of the cherished records of the 1980s.

Featuring “Perfect Skin”, “Forest Fire” and the title track, this reissue replicates the original 1984 UK release, with a printed inner sleeve and the artist-approved 2020 remaster.
