Description
Porcupine Tree’s Deadwing is a 2LP reissue of the band’s 2005 studio album, presented in a gatefold sleeve. It’s a country rock release for listeners exploring the band’s catalogue after In Absentia.
Their eighth studio album, Deadwing continued Porcupine Tree’s commercial success and is regarded by many as part of a high point in the band’s artistic work.
Standout songs include “Shallow” and “Lazarus”. Guests Adrian Belew plays guitar solos on the title track and “Halo”, while Mikael Åkerfeldt contributes vocal harmonies and a guitar solo to “Arriving Somewhere But Not Here”.
