Description
Aesop Rock’s I Heard It’s A Mess There Too is a 12-song rap and hip-hop album on vinyl. It explores the urge to document the places around you and stay connected with friends when times feel uncertain.
Aesop Rock takes a different approach to making beats here, using cleaner, more minimal arrangements with stripped-back drums and uncluttered bass lines. The music sets a mood without competing with the vocals.
