Robert Plant - Saving Grace [Black Vinyl]

Saving Grace is Robert Plant’s first album with a new band of distinguished players, pressed on black vinyl. It brings together listeners of Plant’s work and evocative traditional songs.

Recorded in the Cotswolds and on the Welsh Borders between April 2019 and January 2025, the album gives fresh life to a collection of century-old music. Plant and Saving Grace—vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown—blend a wide range of styles and musical backgrounds.

The collection draws on music associated with Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley of Moby Grape, Blind Willie Johnson, The Low Anthem, Martha Scanlan, Sarah Siskind, and Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk of Low. Produced by Robert Plant and Saving Grace, it is another chapter in Plant’s Nonesuch releases following lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar and Carry Fire.
