Description
Cloakroom’s Dissolution Wave is a vinyl LP for listeners drawn to stoner rock and dreamy space rock. This concept album marks the band’s tenth anniversary with a space-western story shaped by imagined cosmology.
The album follows an asteroid miner who writes songs by night in a universe where music helps keep the world turning. Its expanded space-rock palette explores loss, imagination and the fear of being forgotten.
“A Force at Play” has an airy, pastoral feel, while the title track follows the miner’s regret about a long stint on the job. Closer “Dissembler” turns to anxiety about the figure who will judge their work.
