Description
Fantasyland is an album by Norwich-based artist Maria Uzor, presented on CD. It suits listeners drawn to adventurous electronic production and vocals that explore escapism and self-expression.
Uzor’s musical path has taken her from garage punk band The Incidentals and solo project Girl In A Thunderbolt to post-punk dance duo Sink Ya Teeth. Since 2021, she has produced and self-released music under her own name.
Written and recorded in her Norwich flat, the album creates a shifting, imagined world shaped by ideas of personal realignment and resisting the pull of online distractions. Standout songs include “Don’t Touch Me”, “Digital Error” and “Popcorn”.
