First Light - GRAVITY 2.0 [CD]

First Light - GRAVITY 2.0

Following the success of their critically acclaimed album “Elemental”, melodic rockers First Light proudly present “GRAVITY 2.0”. This powerful reimagining marks the first physical CD release for their previously digital-only album “Gravity”. Originally released three years ago, “Gravity” became a fan favourite despite its lack of a physical release. Responding to growing demand, First Light have delivered a complete reinvention, not just a reissue.

At the heart of this evolution are Carl Sharples and Dave Hardman, the creative forces behind First Light’s distinctive sound. Their passion for melodic rock excellence shines through “GRAVITY 2.0”, blending classic influences with a modern, high-energy edge. The album features fully re-recorded guitars, bass, and vocals, injecting new life, energy, and depth into every track. Renowned rock producers Pete Newdeck and Harry Hess have fully remixed and remastered the album, delivering a richer, more dynamic sound.

The performances on “GRAVITY 2.0” are delivered by a powerhouse lineup. Andy Jakeman provides precision drumming, laying down a driving rhythmic foundation. Didge Digital adds rich, atmospheric keys, enhancing the texture and depth. Leading the charge, Warren Passaro delivers a commanding vocal performance, full of soul, power, and emotion.

In addition to the refreshed core album, “GRAVITY 2.0” includes two new songs, 'catch me when I'm falling' and 'what if?', plus an acoustic version of the fan-favourite “Leave A Light On” from their album *Elemental.
