Description
Gary Numan’s Telekon is presented here as a 45th Anniversary Expanded Edition on two-disc vinyl, for listeners exploring his influential 1980 album. It adds four unreleased tracks, including the never-before-heard “Like A B-Film”.
Numan’s second studio album and third successive UK No. 1, Telekon blends guitars and strings with lush synthesiser textures. Along with Replicas and The Pleasure Principle, Numan considers it part of the “machine” phase of his career.
The four previously unreleased tracks are “Like A B-Film”, an unfinished song from the album sessions, and early versions of “Please Push No More”, “Aircrash Bureau” and “I’m An Agent”. The album has been remastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road, with revised artwork by Michael Speed and a replica of the original 1980 12-page tour booklet.
