Description

The Weatherman is an album by Gregory Alan Isakov, for listeners drawn to reflective songwriting shaped by landscapes and the search for a sense of place. Recorded mostly in solitude near Nederland, Colorado, it was made over a year and a half using analogue equipment and mixed on tape.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and based in Colorado, Isakov writes songs with lyrical influences that include Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen. The album’s title reflects both the surrounding weather and the idea of finding meaning in everyday life.
